Long, long time.......

Okay, it's been way longer than I thought since I wrote anything......I woke up this morning to a comment on my blog that I have since deleted.....It was about smoking and cigarettes and medical horror stories......I really have no interest in them....The stories I mean.....I loved smoking....I quit because I made a promise, I guess it was a maternal feelings day, to my youngest daughter.....It was no medical reason.....It was because of a promise...We all get sick....We all die.....A death from my beloved Pall Malls no filters, and bacon, would be a death better than one from boredom and eating healthy and exercising.....Not every one who smokes gets sick....Not everyone who smokes gets some smoking disease.....Call me unfeeling but I really am way too old and have honestly never been much interested in medical horror stories, mine or yours......We all have one.....We all have lots of them...My blog is about my art, my bad eating habits, my cooking, my love of pork, my love of bacon and my missing cigarettes....Just stupidity and funny things......Please don't leave me comments about your sick relatives.....I'll leave you comments about mine if you do........The End........
Okay.....Now......
I opened another shop on Etsy named victoriasponge....I'm selling all sorts of ephemera and junk I bought when I lived in England....I'm having fun......
I'm going to really try and write more....I have lots of new art to list also and some good food pictures......Three of my little grandchildren came to visit last week......They are so much fun......I had the best time with them.......I love them.......They are beautiful....I will post some pictures of them also.....

Thanksgiving....A week late

Okay, so Thanksgiving has come and gone......I'm not really great at keeping up with writing.....For Thanksgiving my daughter and I wanted to be home alone in our pajamas, no company, just junk TV and food.....I bought a 29.78 pound turkey and we never had a bite of it on Thanksgiving......We ate the side dishes and just didn't feel like turkey......Here he is in all his glory.....

Cigarettes.......

I miss smoking.......I miss cigarettes......I realized recently that the only way I liked talking on the telephone was to have a full pack of unfiltered Pall Malls and a few lighters nearby and I would sit there pretending to be listening to whomever was talking to me while I smoked and smoked away without a care in the world and I drew on everything in sight with a black Sharpie marker.....Now that I made that promise to my daughter and I quit my beloved cigarettes I'm back to absolutely hating talking on the telephone.....I find it like an act of torture to talk on phone, it's boring and a waste of time...Only once in a while do I like it...

I still haven't figured out 1000Markets.....No one has invited me to be in their market....Thank God I don't have feelings and I'm not hurt by it all.....Here are some pictures to look at of Wales....If I've posted them already pretend you haven't seen them.....I love Wales......I'm going back to dreaming of a pack of Pall Malls, no filters........

1000Markets.....

I added some drawings to my 1000Markets shop......My name on there is cathychhetri.....It's way too hot today to type anything else......I'm going back to the couch to lay in front of the fan and watch junk TV till the summer is finished.......Here are a few of the new drawings I listed......

Vacation......

I was on vacation for a few weeks......We went to South Carolina, then to Savannah, then to Florida.....I love Savannah.....South Carolina was food heaven......If I lived there all I would do is eat.....Draw and eat...I think I would eventually give up drawing and all art and just eat.......We were in Greenwood, SC and there were just too many eating places to choose from...So much pork and so little time....La Hacienda was as good as any Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten in and I used to live in Santa Fe...Go there if you are in Greenwood...I liked that everyone you see in South Carolina waves hello to you....When I realized that people would wave back to me I acted like a waving fool, just waving at everyone I saw like I was in a parade or something and totally embarrassing the family.....At Walt's you can get the absolute best chili dogs for 89 cents and gas for your car or pickup if the pumps aren't blocked by people getting hot dogs or sitting inside talking......The place is a trip.....Do not miss it......The picture of the stop sign I took in Savannah while we were riding around town on the trolley with Miss Denise as our guide......Miss Denise was the absolute best tour guide.......
