No more Etsy......

I decided this morning that I finally had to make a decision regarding my drawings and art being for sale on Etsy....I don't like the site, too much nonsense and drama going on there....I kept saying that I was going to take my things out of my shop and I kept putting it off but an incident which happened to me this morning, an e-mail from someone on there, finally made me act and do something about it....I'm going to stick to exhibitons and art shows for now and maybe check out listing my art on some other online sites....Here are some more of my favorite drawings.....Not a pork day today.....

More favorite drawings.....

Here are some more of my favorite drawings which I have done....The turkey drawing I did in the 80's or 90's....It was done before I chose my favorite surname from my ex and current husband pack and used that name for now and ever...It gets my current husband really irritated that I still use my last husband's surname but I like the name Chhetri....It's a Nepali name and when people meet me they expect someone else.....Not the white woman standing in front of them....It's lots of fun to hear people try and pronounce it.....It's also my good daughter's surname, so, we'll keep it....Life is just too short not to have fun , especially fun with stupidity.....

Happy Saturday.....Art posting day.....

No mention of pork today, even though Market Basket is having a sale , which starts tomorrow, on pork roasts for $1.89 lb.....I won't mention it again....I'm going to list some of my favorite ink drawings which I have done....

Ribs and Rain.....

It's raining and warm....Weird for New Hampshire in December.....Something big is going to happen, I just don't trust this trick good winter weather we have had up here so far....I came across these photos of my last trip to Curtis' in Putney, Vermont, before it closed for the season.....One picture is of my meal, notice it was served in a box, pork in a box is magnificent.....The other is after a few minutes of me in a pork eating frenzy....The only problem is that I'm wondering where the bones are????? Did I eat them????Also, I left a few ribs for the picture and to eat on the way home....I actually ate them in the parking lot, along with the box and the paper.....I did some art today.....I'll post the pictures later or tomorrow....Curtis rocks !!!!!!
Wait a second, I just noticed that in the picture I ate someone's ear of corn too....Good to see I'm eating my vegetables.....

Cold and snowy Tuesday morning.....

No pork cooking yet to report today, but there's still more time left in the day...Just art, so far this morning ...I've been working on these things....I've been doing a lot of wooden mehndi hands....I drew them, then had them cut out of wood and while I'm watching some junk on TV I've been sitting there drawing away with my Sharpie markers... After they dry I glue them to some wooden cutouts and paint and add some junk to the cutouts....I did a few ink drawings also....

cathy chhetri's art and love of pork products.....

Okay, I let myself be talked into starting a blog...If no one reads it that's okay because I spend most of every day by myself drawing, making junk and talking to myself....At least it will help me remember what I did all day....I'll blog about what I'm drawing or making and throw in some of my favorite recipes for my beloved pork products....I love art and pork...I won't blog about my kids because they would probably try and sue me....We don't all share the same sense of humor...I will blog about my husband, my third one, who still lives in England, he forgot to get on the boat with me, and is finding every excuse to stay over there....Must be something I said...
